Privacy notice
This notice explains how South Quay Financial Advice (“we”) handles personal data when you use analytics-ops.digital or enquire about UK financial advice and consulting.

Data we collect
- Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
- Message content and preferred meeting dates
- Consultation interest selected on forms
- Technical logs such as IP address and browser type (server and, if accepted, analytics cookies — see cookies)
- Fact-find and document information you later provide under an engagement letter
Purposes and lawful bases
We process enquiry data to respond to your request (legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract). Engaged client data is processed to deliver advice (contract) and to meet regulatory record-keeping duties where applicable (legal obligation). Newsletter sign-ups rely on consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Retention
Enquiry messages without an engagement are kept up to 24 months. Client files are retained for periods required by financial services record-keeping practice — typically at least five years after the relationship ends, longer if a complaint or legal claim is outstanding. Cookie preference choices remain in your browser until cleared.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability where applicable. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Contact us first at hello@analytics-ops.digital so we can address concerns promptly.
International transfers
Our primary operations are in the United Kingdom. If a processor stores data outside the UK, we require appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with IT hosts, email providers, professional advisers (accountants or solicitors you ask us to coordinate with), and regulators when legally required.
